Why Inverted Smileys Make Some People Flip (-: Haha [VIDEO]
So a new study reveals that emoticons are actually changing human brains.
In this video, it has been studied that unlike Smiley's, we know see :-) as a new language.
Our brains treat it as a written language to decode.
Smileys are a different story since we humans have always accustomed to seeing faces in things as part of our evolutionary trait like seeing faces of divine subjects on clothing's or sandwiches.
Although we recognize :-) as a human face smiling, our brain is reacting to it differently.
This is very reason why some people flip out when they receive an inverted smiley like this one (-: or this (:
How about you do you find the inverted smiley weird too?
How often do you use emoticons or emojis on your messages?
