Cebu-based Bethany in contest finals sponsored by Converse

Cebu-based alternative rock band Bethany is one of the five finalists in the Converse Get Loud National Band competition. The other bands are from North Luzon, Central Luzon, South Luzon and Mindanao.

The band started in 2009 and consisting of Luis Quibranza III on vocals and guitars, Angelo Quibranza on guitars, Paolo Miguel Quibranza on drums and Kevin Borromeo on bass, was selected to represent Cebu in a songwriting competition that will be held on Nov. 9, 2013 in Metro Manila, Philippines.

Currently, an online voting system has been set up on facebook.com/conversephilippines where all the original songs of all five finalists are uploaded. The winner of the voting system will take with them a 20% advantage during the Finals night, and a chance to win the Peoples Choice Award.

Bethanys entry, Keep Moving On, is an upbeat and fun track thats perfect for those into melodic rock and roll. All the tracks were recorded at Tracks Studio and mixed and mastered by veteran sound engineer Angee Rozul (Rivermaya, Kamikazee, Urbandub).
