Moving to the inner side, the highest version of Ertiga will get wood trim on the dashboard with a beige-colored cabin feel. The entertainment system is equipped with a 10-inch touch screen, which is supported by radio, bluetooth, USB, AUX, navigation, and smartphone mirror links.

- The new Toyota Avanza is getting a response from competitors quickly. Suzuki, which last year just launched the new Ertiga, is now reportedly brewing a new variant of the  Suzuki Ertiga  with a crossover model.

About the presence of the new Avanza, said Harold, enough to make competition in the Low MPV segment more attractive. Consumers are increasingly choosing to determine which vehicle is the most suitable and that best accommodates their needs.

"So that it becomes a challenge for Suzuki to always be able to provide products and services that match or even exceed consumer expectations," he said.

From internal documents, it was revealed Suzuki was preparing a Suzuki Ertiga-based crossover and would appear publicly at the end of 2019. This new model is likely to have the same body line as the current model but it will get additional designs on the bumper or some other parts fresh.

The Suzuki Ertiga Crossover will likely come with a more sporty front and rear bumper, silver skid plate and additional body kit. The design will be a little different with the use of larger wheels making it more sturdy and reliable. "Around the end of 2019, we will introduce a new SUV originating from the All New Suzuki Ertiga with plans to sell 30,000 units," the document revealed.
