The Return Of Horn-Based, Jazzy Pop To Mainstream Music

This past few days especially this week we have the return of the classic sound of Top 40.

If you are not familiar with it, it resembles the sound of the 70s, fused with some elements of the 80s. In other words, the pinnacle of the sound of pop music in the 90s.

This return I am talking about is very evident in songs like Little Talk and Capital Cities - Sound and Safe.

When last year Justin released his first comeback single Suit & Tie, I thought this trend is gonna catch up soon.

I mean like every body seems to be fed up with all those synthesizer brought by EDM music. But don't take this against us, as we are not EDM haters, we love EDM. It's just that every body doing it, and they are doing it for the money only.

The classic sound of Top 40 also is evident in the recently launched Fine China single by Chris Brown a far cry from all the dancy anthemes he does.

Also evident is the new single Pom Poms by Jonas Brothers.

We also believe the new single Mirror by Justin is a classic Top 40 sound. We are talking about horns, jazzy elements, I mean production elements that are created by real instruments. Check out these new music below.
