Taxes On Softdrinks - Yes Or No?

Proponents of a bill to impose taxes on sugared beverages and softdrinks believe this will help lessen the chances of Filipinos getting diseases such as diabetes much like how sin tax aims to lessen adverse effects of cigarette smoking.

Congressman Miro Quimbo says the money collected from the tax will go to health related expenses and projects by the government.

"We are pushing for the development of potable [water] systems in schools or develop milk that is more affordable. That is where the money will go."

But do you guys agree with the softdrink tax?

The Mitsubishi Delica is a series of vans and pickup trucks that have been produced by Mitsubishi Motors since 1968. The name Delica is derived from the words "delivery car" and "delicious car" ¹. The Delica is known for its versatility, spaciousness, and off-road capability. The latest generation of the Delica, the D:5, was launched in Japan in 2019. It is based on the Mitsubishi Outlander platform and features a distinctive design that combines elements of an SUV and an MPV ². The D:5 has a 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine that produces 170hp and 392Nm of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a Super Select 4WD system ². It can seat up to eight passengers and has various safety and convenience features, such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, and a power tailgate ². Recently, users of Windows 10 are complaining about a malware that is hijacking or automatically downloading and installing a search bar on their Folders are reporting. Users noticed that one time while searching large files from their Windows 10 folders, the window just simply freezes. After restart, they noticed that an app has popped up in their desktop showing a search bar and the title bar displays iSearch.
