With David Archuleta’s surprise visit to the Philippines on November 17, 2010 making the girls go gaga, everyone rushes to record stores to buy Americon Idol runner up’s 2nd album “The Other Side of Down”.
The visit was more of an album tour than a concert streak, but aside from his live performance of his new hit song “Elevator”, Filipino fans want to know if David’s going to be doing a cameo on Glee just like his friend Charice.
“Yeah, it’s a fun show, I don’t watch a whole lotta tv, but I’ve been able to watch Glee everytime when I’m home and it’s so funny. I mean, I like the way they incorporate the songs and the music into the show and how they made it popular, I like how they make it popular with music and to be a geek, I love that. I think it’s so awesome, it’s like I love music and I’m a geek, hey! I love Jane Lynch she makes me cry, laughing so hard.” , tells David during a Billboard interview.
When Popeater asked him if there is any chance he could join the TV show? He said:
“It would be cool to make an appearance on it because it’s a fun show. It gets all these geeks who love music. I think that’s great. That’s the category I was in. I wasn’t the most athletic person. I didn’t really fit in anywhere. Even the people who were in music, they were very good [and] technically musical, so I didn’t feel like I’d fit in with them. I just loved music and how it made me feel. Even with musicals, the theater people, I didn’t really fit in with them. I mean, I got along with a lot of different groups, but there wasn’t a place where it was, “Yes! That’s where I fit in.” I was just a geek who loved music. That’s what I was.”
Catch David Archuleta at the SM City North EDSA Skydome on Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. Grab a copy of the “The Other Side of Down” album and have it signed by David himself.

David Archuleta would be a great fit for an appearance on Glee — I would love for that to happen.
I hope he really joins Glee soon
We'd love to see David on Glee! He'd fit right in, and everyone would have a blast.
I agree
I hope that Glee producers or whoever is involved are smart enough to bring David on Glee. It'll be a huge success, even if it's just for one song. I can't wait for that to happen!
